Q. I keep getting an annoying popup whenever I go to this site, how do I stop it?

This is the website configuration panel.

You can use this to configure the website's language, and navigation system. If you are on your own PC you can stop this popup from appearing again in future by specifying that your compluter type is private access. The website will remember the current settings when you return in future.

If you want to configure the site at any time you can bring the website configuration panel at any time by clicking on the Settings link on the main menu bar.

Q. I dont get website configuration panel popup / nothing happens when I click Settings, what do I do?

You may have a popup blocker enabled.

New versions of Internet Explorer and many other browsers such as Mozilla/Firefox have built-in popup blockers, which are enabled by default.

You should enable popups for this website, (we do not have popup adverts on this site!).

Q. I don't like the navigation system, why don't you change it?

Well the question should be why don't you change it?

With W1Fv2 we have tried to be as flexible as possible, and now you can choose between two navigation interfaces.

The default is the classic W1F main menu (top) and side bar (left), just because its the one most of you will be familiar with from the old site.

The second interface is the drop down menu system, we have tried to make this as simple as possible, and have tested it in several browsers in order to make sure that its not going to break anything.

The dropdown menu, is the one we would recommend... But that's just our opinion.
